Daisy is a Registered American Paint. She is well bred, well trained with excellent ground manners; mellow, even-tempered, easy to handle and well socialized with other horses. She is very sweet and has a wonderful personality. She wants to please. For the past month that she has been at the SERRA rescue, our volunteers have loved her peaceful attitude and how gentle she is. She performs best with quiet subtle handling.
When she was 13 years old, she was paired up with what turned out to be an aggressive paddock mate and ended up with a fractured wither bone. With rest, homeopathy, and massage, she healed nicely and was cleared for riding with an appropriate saddle to not aggravate her healed withers. She doesn’t have any soundness problems or health issues. She could be ridden by a light rider or child with appropriate saddle fitting.
Her former owners had Daisy for about 8 years. They loved and cared about her very much. They originally got her for their daughter who was interested in riding. She was lightly ridden and now the daughter has gone off to college and the family thought it was best to find Daisy a new home where she would get the daily love, attention and care she needs and deserves. We are dedicated to finding Daisy her new human to build a relationship with and spend her days pleasing them. She will make her new someone very happy.
She is 23 years old; born February, 23 1995. Her registered name is “IRS Easter Bandit”
