Pilgrim is 15.2hh, 23 years young, TB/QH, very calm and sweet. Good for the vet, easy for the farrier, trailers well, ties easily, takes shots and wormer easily. Used to do Jr. posse, 4 h, etc. good on trails, walks through water easily. Light riding ok for children and light weight adults. He’s very loyal. Friendly with both mares and geldings and good in a herd.
11/23/18 update: In less than 3 months, Pilgrim has gained his weight back and is healthy and eating normally with hay and one supplement feeding a day. He is such a sweet gentleman. We have never seen any aggression or bad behavior from him. He is a volunteer favorite. Let's find him a new loving home!
9/3/18: Pilgrim needs our help! His owner boarded him at a facility while she was abroad. Clearly, they didn’t take care of him. The owner is unable to care for him so we brought him in. He is receiving special TLC to bring his weight up. His cribbing habit was never addressed so his upper front teeth are worn down. Even when we get weight back on him, he will still need a feeding of supplements each day in addition to hay.
Can you help us take care of him? Will you donate to his supplements or vet, dental, farrier costs? We would be very grateful. Please donate here.
