Once a stunning racehorse and then a sweet pleasure horse.  His owner sold him a few years back and lost track of him, but recently received a notice from a Texas kill pen “kindly notifying” her that Koda was going to be sent to slaughter.  She was able to get him back to California but has no way of caring for him—so he is now with us.
