Bailey & Indio arrived earlier this week after their owner was no longer able to care for them. This sweet pair has clearly looked after one another for many years.  

 

Bailey is a 29-year-old Paint mare.  She arrived significantly underweight, so our first priority is helping her regain her health through our careful refeeding protocols provided by our veterinarian.  

 

Indio is a 22-year old Paso Fino gelding.  He’s a little shy at first but is incredibly kind and keeps a watchful eye on his lifelong companion Bailey.  Indio has even been known to "share" his supplements with Bailey. 

 

They're still settling in, and we're taking the time to assess their personalities and needs so we can eventually find the home that's the best fit for each of them.  If possible, we'd love to see Bailey and Indio continue their journey together in their next home.
